In this article, we will give you all the clarity if you have no idea about the XUV 400.

So what are the changes and what has been made available? Know everything together in the article.

Without further delay, let’s start from the front of the car.

There is no change in the front of the car, the front grille is completely closed, this is done to give the car a range mile, aerodynamics are better. You will see in most EV cars.

All the elements in this car are made of copper because Mahindra is going to give copper elements in all its vehicles. It comes with projector headlamps.

The side profile of the car is the same as before, there is no change in the ground clearance as well.

16″ tyres have been given, alloy wheels are Apollo, Aptera, Cross, same tyres have been given. And there is no change in the design of the alloy wheel.

Now since copper is the theme of Mahindra electric vehicles, if you take the dual tone option then you will get copper colour roof and pillars, and side mirrors in black.

Let’s move to the rear of the car which is exactly the same as before except for a shark fin antenna and EV badging. If you talk about the rear styling, it is exactly the same as before.

Boot Space
It has the largest boot space in the entire category, its boot space is really practical and useful. By the numbers there is 378 liters of boot space.

Actually, we also feel that its design is already very amazing, so there is no need to change its design.

Interior
Major changes have been made in the interior of the car. Earlier the car used to come in black interiors, now its interior is in ivory and black colour which gives a very sporty look and earlier It also felt lighter and more premium.

The seats and door pads are the same as before. The door handles, which were black in colour earlier, now come in silver finish. The steering wheel has been completely changed, which was earlier in the 400 and 300 lineup, now it has come in 700-Scorpio N sharing.

There are audio controls on the left side, cruise controls on the right side. The size of the instrument cluster is the same but now it has become digital.

It gets a 10.25-inch touchscreen which is quite easy to use. You get the same Adrenox UI which comes in Scorpio N and 700. The connected system of the car which was earlier with BlueSense+, now it has become Adrenox which is a plus point.

The operation of the screen is quite easy, brightness is good, response is good and you get everything in it like wireless, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay which was not there in the earlier 400.

There is a reverse parking camera, which doesn’t give parking guidelines, left and right, that will come with a software upgrade. And the instrument cluster will tell you the distance from the obstacle, which is a nice feature.

Apart from this, dual zone climate control has been introduced, along with 2 charging ports, which are USB ports, not Type C, and a wireless charging pad has also been introduced here.

Because the front seats are quite wide, supportive and comfortable if you compare it with all the EVs in this category.

Handbrake is retained, you don’t get an electronic parking brake, there are 2 cup holders, and along with that you get a lot of storage under the armrest. There is also a decent amount of storage in the doorpad and glovebox.

Sunroof is retained, here you don’t get a panoramic sunroof but you get a decent sized sunroof.

Rear seat
The door opens quite wide, there is no shortage of knee space and head space and 3 people can sit comfortably in the back seat, earlier only 2 were available with 3 seatbelts. 2 people get armrests.

Earlier there were no AC vents, now they have been introduced along with 1 Type C charging port. A 12V charging point has also been given, and a place to keep the phone has also been given here in the center, which was not there earlier.

Driving

The performance of Mahindra XUV 400 is amazing as before and it is very awesome to drive.

It gets NMC battery pack which also comes in expensive models of Hyundai, Kia and Tesla.

Pricing

Earlier XUV 400 comes in 19 to 20 but this time Mahindra will bring quite aggressive pricing and compete in the market. Its price will vary between 16 and 18.
